Please carefully look over the dates below. These dates are mandatory for your participant. If you have any questions, please contact soar@soararts.com before registering. In addition, please review the rehearsal schedule and list any conflicts on your registration form. If you have more than three conflicts, please contact soar@soararts.org before registering.
We at SOAR Regional Arts hope to stand above the rest. That is why we employ professional directors, choreographers, vocal directors, production managers and stage managers to give you a true theater experience. We feel this is important and work hard to ensure this is the experience you have each and every time.
The rest of the organization however is based on volunteers. The Board of Directors are all volunteers and we spend countless hours doing all it takes to run an organization such as SOAR. But we can’t do it alone. Our organization has grown to the size that without volunteers, we couldn’t continue. That’s where you come in!
We are asking every family to help out. At the beginning of each production, each family will be asked to write a check for $175.00. This check will be held until the end of the production.
There are two options for you:
Option One: Volunteer your time. Each family will be required to complete two volunteering opportunities. Families have the ability to choose which spots best match their interests and schedules. This will be in place of your monetary commitment.
If you choose to volunteer:
• We will collect a check from you at the parent meeting for $175.00.
• You will sign up for a minimum of two opportunities at the parent meeting.
• If you do not meet your volunteer opportunities by the end of strike on March 12th, your check will be cashed by SOAR Regional Arts per our policy.
• If you meet your requirement, your check will be destroyed.
Option Two: Families who do not wish to volunteer will have their checks cashed.
We need your help, so our goal is to never cash a single check!
More detailed information will be sent out in our first cast email. Sign up for volunteering will open during our mandatory parent meeting.
